About The Author

Mark Roberts, twin to Matthew Roberts, second and third born of Paul and Marion (DeFrees) Roberts of Faribault, MN.  Graduated in 1972 from Mankato State University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry.

I completed a long and eventful career spanning 35 years with Hormel Foods Corporation, retiring in 2012 as the head of Regulatory Affairs, Law Department.

I have had a passion for discovery of family history since I first purchased an Apple IIe computer with 64K of RAM in the early 80s.  Since that time I have amassed a huge amount of historical information, eventually most all of which will be published on this website for the benefit of all interested family members and friends.  My ultimate desire is to help make history come alive for our family through the eyes of our ancestors.
